Our Mission

Our mission is to connect people with trusted financial education, practical tools, and experienced professionals who can help them navigate life’s financial decisions. Whether you’re creating your first budget, preparing to buy a home, improving your credit, or planning for retirement, we’re here to provide reliable resources that support lifelong financial success.

Take On Money was developed by Student Achievement & Advocacy Services, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to facilitating promising teens to maximize their potential.

Our Legacy of Inspiring Future Leaders

For more than two decades, Student Achievement & Advocacy has empowered young people through innovative educational programs, meaningful mentorship, and lifelong learning. Since 2001, we’ve helped individuals develop the critical thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills needed to succeed in a changing world. Today, those same values guide Take On Money as we help people build the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.

RIGOROUS BROAD-BASED PROGRAM: Our goal is to become the brand-name provider of a financial literacy program that has quantifiable, objective results.
CONTENT FOR STUDENTS & ADULTS: Based on Jump$tart’s six basic elements of personal finance.
ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE: An online program, Take On Money will be available to anyone who has access to the Internet, whether at school, in a public library, or at home.
ADAPTABLE CURRICULUM: Each student will proceed through our six-part course and are required to pass each individual section before proceeding. In the event a student does not pass, the curriculum will adapt the subject that needs more attention and comprehension.

Signature Programs

Adventures of the Mind was one of our signature educational initiatives, connecting students with accomplished leaders in science, technology, literature, public service, and business. The program reflected our belief that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom and inspires future achievement.

Prize for Promise celebrated exceptional young women whose leadership, innovation, and vision demonstrated the potential to create lasting positive change. The program awarded a $100,000 prize to a woman between the ages of 21 and 35 whose achievements reflected extraordinary promise. Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of accomplished leaders representing a wide range of professions and disciplines.
